A child starts to learn from the day they are born and the first three years are critical for their development. Chapter One provides babies and toddlers challenging opportunities to explore and discover the world around them, in a safe environment rich with opportunities with responsive interaction from caring staff.

Baby & Toddler Care Plans

Parents and carers establish a personal care plan which is regularly updated to ensure that routines are maintained to suit the child and family.

Development & Progress Files

Each child has their own development and progress file where progress and achievements are recorded. Observations are regularly done and monitored to assist with the planning of activities to meet the needs of every child as an individual.

What Babies & Toddlers Learn

We work within the programme of development 'Birth to Three Matters'. The programme is designed to optimise comprehensive individual development at a child's natural pace.
